If gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” (NLT)
Hebrews 11:1

What are you hoping for right now? ________________________. Are you having trouble in believing it will happen? Isn't it funny even after we've had great victories we find ourselves in a place of leaning towards doubt and fear. I found this could be a good place that will alert us to what we must immediately do, take doubt and fear to the Word.

Faith says it is the confidence…stop right there (Selah). Confidence is the belief that you can rely on someone or something; a firm trust.

Consider who you are relying and trusting in...the One and Only, True and Living God who cannot lie? Numbers 23:19. It is actually impossible for Him to lie Hebrews 6:18 and he is not like man who promises something and can opt to change his mind. 1 Samuel 15:29 God says It is also impossible to please Him without having confidence, a strong belief and reliance on only Him.

“But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.” Hebrews11:6 (AMP)

We must be mindful that this is a relationship between the Almighty God and you. In this relationship you are walking and talking to the Most High God. So when you come to Him you must come in confidence, in the belief that you can rely on and have a firm trust in Him. How can you walk together in doubt of whom you are trusting? The Word says “Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amos 3:3. God says in doing so you are wavering in doubt and unbelief. The NLT says in James 1:6-7 “Do not waver for a person with divided loyalty is unsettled…. And such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.” Wow! your loyalty in God is divided. Don't stop walking and talking to Him and entertain Doubt and Fear. Loyal means giving or showing firm and constant support or allegiance to a person or institution. Some of us are more loyal to man than God. Maybe that's why we are wavering. Hmmm....

Before you move on today in your faith, establish in your heart where your loyalties really lie. With God or man, friends, banks, credit unions, doctors, mamas, daddies, customers, judges, lawyers, in whom or whatever you are thinking can get you through. Once that is established then with assurance move on to the rest of the Word, “…. that what we hope for will actually happen. It gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”Hebrews11:1

God says, “_______________ (insert your name) REALLY, are you actually doubting whether I can do this or that it can be done? Consider today WHO I AM and your doubts and fears will be calmed .
