Dear Holy Father God,
We come to you this morning giving you honor and glory for all that you have done for us. It is so amazing that you want to commune with sinful man, with people who want to have their own way even when we believe and deceive ourselves into thinking it is your way. You still want to hang out with us.
You said if we say we have NO sin then we deceive ourselves. So search our hearts today and show us where we are hindering the precious work of Your Dear Sacrificial Lamb, Jesus Christ, whom you sacrificed for us!
Help us realize that we now carry about in these earthen vessels the gift that will connect others to you. Forgive us where we have been selfish and help us grow into a deeper knowledge and revelation of knowing that it is no longer about us.
We cannot thank you enough for the love you have for us. There are no words that can be expressed to satisfy what we feel for what you have done.
So what can we offer you Lord for all You have done for us? Search our hearts and teach us how to lift up the cup of salvation and praise Your name for saving us. Help us keep our promises to you, Lord, in the presence of all Your people so that others can receive what you have so freely given to us.
