And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb,
and by the word of their testimony;
and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Revelation 12:11

My daughter was about 15 years old when something very powerful came out of mouth that I did not know the impact of what I actually said. It was one of many times of talking to her about something she had done wrong. She would often write me letters of apology. This particular letter stated, “Mom, I know I did wrong but I have to make my own mistakes.” I remember saying, “To a certain extent this is true but Satan is a liar! John 8:44 There are some things you won't have to experience because I have gone through them already. And if you listen to me and follow, you can skip that one and move on."

My daughter is now in her thirties and recently came to me with something she was experiencing that was tremendously painful. In the midst of her tears I said, “Okay we can skip this part, I have already gone through this. I've gone through the many, many, many, many, many (did I say many) many tears that this experience brings. The experience that bring questions of why, why me, why did this have to happen to me. So let's now go straight to the part that will get you to your place of healing on the other side of this pain.” There is the other side and it comes after the crying and all the questions of why, all the many days, hours and minutes, and seconds that steal your joy, peace and most of all valuable time to move on to God's purpose in your life. What I actually said was, "Let's skip the flesh part and get straight to the spirit of the matter."

In that place the spirit man communicates with the Spirit of God. When you are in the flesh the emotions are too loud to hear what's next. As I went on with my testimony and what I had experienced, she stopped crying and I begin to hear her strength return Isaiah 40:28-29. Her soulish realm was shut down and her spirit man stood up. She was able to hear God's leading and guiding her into her next step. She stepped on the Rock Psalms 40:1-2 and moved on to the other side of her pain. Because I went through it and shared it with her, she was able to move to the next step, now God is leading her into victory!!! Not that it's still not painful but she took her hands off her tearful eyes and grabbed back hold of God's hand and He's taking her through. Psalms 139:8-10. "Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the Rock that is higher than I." Psalm 61:1-2

The message I received in Revelation 12:11 for me is I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by His testimony of the things He suffered for me so that I could live 1 John 4:4. Jesus testimony in the Word gets me through daily. He loved not his own life but gave it so that I could live to fulfill this calling on my life John 15:13. The many trials are part of the reason you are reading this today and I am no different from you. God gave me this platform but our platforms are wherever we are to pull someone through. 2 Corinthians 2:14-15

What's your testimony __________ (insert your name)? When the time comes and the Spirit speaks, tell it. Luke 9:23. The key to this is the Spirit will let you know when to speak. Some things are not meant for everybody Proverbs 4:23. What you suffered might get someone over to the other side of their pain into their wealthy place a lot sooner than it took you.” Psalms 66:8-12

Marvin Sapp says in his song “My Testimony”, So glad I made it, I made it through In spite of the storm and rain, heartache and pain Still I'm declaring That I made it through See, I didn't lose , Experience lost at a major cost But I never lost faith in you . So if you see me cry, It's just a sign that I'm still alive I got some scars, but I'm still alive In spite of calamity, He still has a plan for me And it's working for my good And it's building my testimony.

The enemy comes to steal (your joy, time, peace), kill (you and God's plan) and destroy (God's purpose) John 10:10. Don't let him do it. Your testimony might just stop Satan's plan so that God's purpose can be fulfilled in your life and the lives of those God will place in your path..
