“And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:14-15
And then the fight started…

In the last message, [“The Battle: Part III – Halloween Night”], the question was asked, “Christians, what are you wearing tonight?” On Halloween day I heard several comments from Christians who wore devils and skulls and all sorts of things that represent Satan and darkness. Some said, "Y'all take things too far. Just because I have on a devil and witch does not mean I am for the Devil." Hmmm… So then the question truly is, “Are you truly serious about serving the God who loves you? Are you truly interested in the things He value? “Are the salvation of souls truly your concern?” How would you feel if your Pastor stood up to preach or teach Bible Study in a Warlock costume? Hmmm… If that appalls you then your skull costume should have the same affect on you. Jesus commissioned all believers to have a heart for souls and be a soul winner, not just Pastors. Matthew 28:19-20

When playing on a softball, basketball, or football team, how are the players distinguished? What if your team's uniform is black and white with a red cardinal in the middle with your number on the back then, in walks several of your teammates who decides to dress up as the opposing team? How would you feel? What would be your response? Anger, feelings of treachery, betrayal, confusion?

How would the people in the stadium know whose who? Can you imagine the confusion? The Cardinals and the Saints running in the same direction with the ball to score for the Cardinals. Hmmm… I can imagine some of the Cardinals tackling their own players dressed up like the Saints. But who is it that actually loses? The people that watched walks away not knowing who to follow, believe, or root for.

How do you answer when someone walks up and ask, “How can you dress up like the enemy of God and still say you represent Him? “Oh", you may say, “This is just for fun@#!!!” That's exactly how the Enemy, Satan, wants you to selfishly respond to the truth. Satan always appeal to your own selfish desires and make it seem harmless. Ephesians 2:2-3, Colossians 3:6 By now that answer should sound foolish. If not, is it possible that what you value is more important than what GOD values? Selah… God hates darkness and anything to do with it. What does it do for those in the world watching the confusion of the believers? 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 , Anything that opposes God's light is detrimental to what He values most, the precious souls still waiting to receive Him. John 10:16 Please don't let Satan cause you to be a stumbling block, hindering the souls of people, simply to have a selfish moment of pleasure. Romans 14:20-21 It may sound frivolous and over the top and yes it's just a costume but the outward appearance is a reflection of what is going on inwardly. The same with cursing, foul language, dirty jokes, fornication, adultry, adultrous behavior are all like costumes that are confusing the world who is watching the believers. Colossians 3:5-9

Yes we can enjoy the life God has given us, for He gives us richly all things to enjoy, but not for selfish gain and at the cost of loss souls. 1 Timothy 6:17 The world is watching. Someone has been assigned to you by God and Satan will make sure, after enticing you, that person see you fall. But thanks be unto God for there is no condemnation to us who are in Christ Jesus! Romans 8:1 And all things work for the good of those who love Him and are called for His purpose. Romans 8:28 And who are they that love Him? John 14:21

So we must wake up Soldiers! Ephesians 5:14, put on Christ. Romans 13:13-14 suit up! Ephesians 4:22-24 and put on His weapons of warfare! Ephesians 6:11-17. Submit to His perfect will today. Sure to you it's just a costume but to God, it's a reflection of your heart and what you truly value. He hates darkness and told us how to live amongst the unbelivers. Deuteronomy 18:10-14 Remember what you declared in church while you shouted, clapped and danced to the hymn:

[I left my friends and kindred bound for the Promised Land, the grace of God upon me, the Bible in my hands.
In distant lands I trod, crying sinner come to God; I'm on the battlefield for my Lord.
Chorus
I am on the battlefield for my Lord. I'm on the battlefield for my Lord, and I promised Him that I would serve Him 'til I die; I'm on the battlefield for my Lord.]

God says, _______________ (insert your name) come to Jesus today. He did nothing that displeased Me. Don't ask Denise, your friends, your family about this message. Ask My Son for He is the Truth, the Way, and the Life. Follow Him so that others will see and follow too. Selah.
