Proverbs 21:1

Oh my goodness he was actually elected! How could it be? I can't and will not be led by that man!

While traveling in Africa one of my church members received many opinions about the person that was elected as the United States President. Some of the Indian South African males believed the President Elect would bring business to our country and also stabilize the inflow of immigrants. White South African males believed he will help ALL Americans. Well, Black South African males believe you should not worry or have anxiety because GOD IS ALWAYS HIGHER THAN ANY OFFICE.
Well said sirs!

The results of the election may have surprised some of us but can anything catch God by surprise? Did the polls fool Him? Did any power sneak in without Him knowing? Is there any power more powerful than God? Does God expect His children to be led by such a Leader?

The Bible says in Romans 13:1 “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.” Hmmm…..The Bible says there is no Power but God and the powers, THAT BE, are ORDAINED of God. Not only did it not surprise Him but according to the Word He ordained it. He is omniscient (all knowing) and omnipotent (all powerful). He is Lord God EL Elyon the MOST HIGH GOD who sits in the highest place ruling and guarding over all things causing all things to work according to His divine purpose and plan! God has a plan. GOD GOT THIS!!!

“For I know the thoughts (plans) that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts (plans) of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (a future and a hope).” Jeremiah 29:11

So Since He has a PLAN then He is WORKING His PLAN!

Proverbs 21:1 says, “ The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord , as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.” So in other words no matter who was elected,

God can change the king's heart and God can direct the king where He wants him to go. WHY? Because HE IS the King of kings!!! HE IS the Lord of lords!!! He is GOD of gods!!!

What about your fears and concerns that the king (President) will treat us cruelly and unjust?

God requires our leaders to, "...to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God." Michah 6:8

• God, not only can change the king's heart (president) and direct the king in the ways He wants him to go, But God can also remove the king. Look at what He says,

Psalm 75:4-7, “I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn: Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: HE putteth down one, and setteth up another.” GOD GOT THIS!

And, He who continually soweth discord will be sudenely broken without remedy. Proverbs 6:14-15

Yes GOD GOT THIS! He can remove the king. So don't be discouraged, the King of Glory is greater than the king and He's strong and mighty and mighty and battle!

So “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.” Psalm 24:7-10 Selah….meditate on that!

God says, “_______________ ,(insert your name) I GOT THIS!

Like the South African males said, "GOD IS ALWAYS HIGHER THAN ANY OFFICE!" In other words, GOD GOT THIS!
