“And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:14-15
And that's how the fight started…

At one time when you heard of someone being shot it was someone about 40 or 30, then 20, then 19, 18, 17, 16. Remember when you heard about the first 12 year old, then 10, then OMG! 8, Oh Jesus!, 5, now it's becoming common 4, 2, 1, and even months old. And the killing of the fetus, well that's been going on for a long time. Too long….. I myself, when I was about 12 years old witnessed a man lying prostrate on the ground in his own blood after being shot in the head.

Whether we understand the war that is raging or not, we are at war and it's not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of the world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12 Satan's plan is to steal, kill, and destroy and he's hitting us where it hurts, "Our Children".

Before the children of Israel went to battle to conquer their enemies in the promised land, they placed their children in the fenced cities to protect them from their enemies. (KJV)“And they came near unto him, and said, We will build…cities for our little ones: But we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel , until we have brought them unto their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.” Numbers 32:16-17

Fenced cities were cities protected by one or more walls (sometimes of thick stones, sometimes of combustible material) crowned with battlemented parapets (lower walls along the edge of a roof), having towers at regular intervals on which in later times engines of war were placed, and watch was kept by day and night in time of war. Walls were essential in the Old Testament times. They offered safety from raids and symbolized strength and peace. A city without a wall was defenseless and open to attacks.

Yes, we are at War!

With so many of our children and babies being shot and killed could it possibly be that our cities are not fenced in? Is it possible that the Spiritual Walls are down or are you not guarding your portion of the wall? Nehemiah 7:3 Has the Enemy set up camp in our city, neighborhoods, and homes? Satan is not trying to destroy bricks, cement and mortar. He's trying to steal, kill, and destroy the Christian soldiers called to stand on the wall.

God said, “I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall…., but I found no one." Ezekiel 22:30-35 Our Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (BIBLE) teaches us that righteous exalts a nation and sin is a disgrace to all people. Proverbs 14:34 If so, is it possible that you have fallen to sin and your part of the wall is now exposed? Matthew 26:41 You must get up and cast off the works of darkness for our salvation is nearer then you know. Romans 13:11-12

Are the babies dying because there is a breach in the fence? Is it now down? Have we left our post?

If you haven't read it read [Part III - Sacrifices That Please God: "Called to Be the Remnant"]. Just maybe the Enemy has distracted you and knocked you off the wall.

When Nehemiah heard the Jerusalem 's wall had not been rebuilt he broke down. Nehemiah himself was enjoying a great life. He had an honored position of being the king's cupbearer. But when he heard about the condition of the holy city, Jerusalem, he was deeply grieved but he didn't just cry and talk about it. After his initial grief he poured out his heart to God and looked for ways to improve the situation. He fasted and prayed for several days not looking at the sins and attacks against his people but first at their own sins and confessed their sins to God. He praised, thanked, repented, asked specifically, and then committed to serving. Nehemiah 1:5-11

When the wall was rebuilt it was not simply manned with guns, AK47s, rifles, or bullets for in this battle, shoot one man of flesh and the demon moves to the next. Instead, the first who were appointed were the gatekeepers, singers, and priest. Nehemiah 7:1“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of warfare are not carnal but mighty in God to the pulling down of strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 But we must first arm ourselves with His armour. Ephesians 6:13-18

So where is our protection? I'm glad you asked...Yes truly your answer should be God, but what part are you responsible for? Are you manning your post? Have you left the wall? Remember the song, “Lord be a Fence All Around Me Everyday”. Remember how Satan told God that the only reason Job was true is because of the fence God had around him. Job 1:9-10

God said, “I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall…., but I found no one." Ezekiel 22:30-35

The walls must be rebuilt and manned day and night. Don't wait until one of your babies are shot. Like Nehemiah we must leave our confort zones and move into action. Romans 13:13-14 As we fight we must protect our children as did the people of Israel before they went on to conquer the land promised to them. Numbers 32:17 We too were promised a land, a home in heaven Hebrews 11:16 and the Enemy is raging war to make sure we die in the wilderness. Be like Nehemiah. He praised, thanked, repented, asked specifically, and then committed to serving. Nehemiah 1:5-11

Man your post. Where have you been called to serve? 1 Peter 4:7 Time out from just partying and drinking. 1 Peter 4:3 Watch and Pray. Matthew 26:41. Our children and babies lives depend on the army God has prepared. 2 Timothy 2:3-4

God says, “____________ (insert your name) every child and every baby are your children too. The blood line is not from flesh and blood but from My Son who suffered, bled, and died and called you into My heavenly family. Get back on your post today. Someone's life is depending on your covering. Your assignment will be given in the next message."
